OK, I'm seriously trying to understand exactly what the fucking Hell in going on in our schools these days.

Now, for a young teenage girl in high school, just wearing a sleeveless blouse during a prom is considered pornographic by some fucking ultra-conservative retards!

OK, check out this article from DAIL KOS

Yeah! Here's another one for the books!

Check this out!

Are shoulders pornographic?

NO! Ya right-wing CONservatards! Shoulders are NOT pornographic! This is 2015 and NOT 1815!!! Lonepeak_copy

Gabi Finlayson was excited to attend a dance at Lone Peak High School. The 15-year-old girl and her mom were recently in Paris and they picked out "the perfect dress", one that was reminiscent of iconic fashion idol Audrey Hepburn.

Her happiness soon turned to shame and embarrassment. Shortly after arriving at the school dance, she was approached by school officials who said her dress was too risqué. Why? Her shoulders were showing:

Finlayson says she was angry after she was forced to wear her winter coat over her dress the entire dance, she says she felt as though the school was shaming her for what some of the boys might think.

“Somehow my shoulders are sexualized,” Finlayson said. “Like it's my responsibility to make sure the boys’ thoughts are not unclean.”

Her mom was just as incensed:

“How have we gotten to the point that we look at shoulders as if they're somehow pornographic? As if they are this shameful thing,” Kimball said.

Right on, mom! Seriously, are shoulders pornographic? This dress style was popularized by Audrey Hepburn in the late 1950s and early 1960s and somehow in 2015 it is considered too risqué? Yes, some people should be embarrassed by this debacle. But, but it sure isn't Gabby Finlayson or her mom.

See an interview with Gabby Finlayson and her mother, Kristy Kimball here.

OK, did I just get off the wrong train in the wrong town???

I mean, like, seriously!!!

This is the 21st century! Right! This is 2015, isn't it? Right?

If I'm not mistaken, this is NOT 1815, or even 1915. Right?

I see nothing wrong with her prom dress. In fact I think it is a bit conservative as far as clothing styles go.

"This dress style was popularized by Audrey Hepburn in the late 1950s and early 1960s."

But NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

She was forced to wear an outdoor coat over her prom dress!

So, what was she suppose to wear?

I know! High button collar and long sleeves! Right?

How about a burqu?

NO! Ya right-wing CONservatards! Shoulders are NOT pornographic! This is 2015 and NOT 1815!!! Saudi-women-burka

Ya know? Sort of like this! Right?

OK, many right-wing Christian Fundies are all so delusional and hate American Muslims so bad, and they're so paranoid that they fear that America will eventually be under Sharia law.

NO! That can't happen because that would be unconstitutional.

Oh! But many Christian Fundies would like for America to become a Christian Theocracy, and impose their own agenda that would be just as bad as Islamic Sharia law.

A Christian Theocracy would also be unconstitutional.

OK, I did a Google search for Lone Peak High School and here's what I found.

"Lone Peak High School is a public high school in Highland, Utah, in northern Utah County. Part of Alpine School District, it was built in 1997 to serve students in the cities of Alpine, Highland, and Cedar Hills."

Oh, yeah! Utah! Mormon country! Figures! What can you expect?

Anyway . . . . .

I see absolutely nothing wrong with her dress.

When I went to school, and lot of girls wore sleeveless blouses, especially during warm weather.

It was no big deal.

Why are some people making such a great big hairy deal of it now?

What century did I say we are in now?

Oh! It's the 21st century.

It's 2015 now!

NOT 1815!!!

Yeah! It's 2015. At least it was the last time I checked my calendar.

I better check it again! Be right back in a couple of seconds!

I'm right! It's 2015.

And the earth is round, not flat!
