I have just signed the petition, and I have signed a few more petitions from other web sites in my E-mails.

We Stand With Deric Lostutter: Support
the Steubenville Whistleblower Now!The Steubenville rape case helped spark a national conversation about victim-blaming and rape culture.
But the victim only got justice because Anonymous leaked significant social media evidence implicating the assailants — and for distributing those tweets, photos, and video, 26-year-old Deric Lostutter faces more prison time than the rapists got themselves.
Lostutter faces up to ten years behind bars if he's convicted of hacking-relating crimes. Now he's gearing up for a costly legal battle — and as he calls for donations, we call on you to give him the nationwide support he needs to win his trial.The Ohio U.S. Attorney's office and the DOJ are sending a dangerous message to men who stand up : Don't get involved, or else. Let them know we still stand with Deric: Sign your support for his actions and oppose sending him to prison, now!

Yeah, the punks who raped that under-aged teenage girl, and dragged her unconscious from one rape party to the next, they're only going to get 2 years.
But that brave kid who came forward and blew the whistle on those punks, he's facing a possible 10 years in prison!

According to the Republican party, rape is the will of God, and if the girl becomes pregnant from the rape, then the baby is a gift from God!
Yeah! Just ask Richard Murdock, whom Mitt Romney endorsed for Senator back in the 2012 election year. He should know! Right?

I don't know if you noticed, but the Department of Justice is behind the prosecution of this poor guy. The DOJ is part of the Obama administration. Please use any influence you might have with them. The Republicans (whom I don't support, by the way) are not behind this injustice. They have nothing to do with this unjust prosecution. At least not directly. Does the President or his press secretary (or whoever) have anything to say about it?
Can you imagine what would happen to this guy in prison? I think you know what I'm talking about. Frankly, I don't think he would survive, given his slight build.
And for what?
We truly live in a sick society.

Actually, the DOJ, Department Of Justice has been under the administration of every president we have had.
It was under the Eisenhower Administration, and the Kennedy Administration, the Johnson Administration, the Nixon Administration, the Ford Administration, the Carter Administration, the Reagan Administration, under the Papa Bush and Baby Bush Administrations and the Clinton Administration in between.
I haven't check all my E-mails yet. I've been falling behind. I seriously need to get caught up.
But, I'm sure by now, either Act Blue, or Change.org has written up petitions to President Obama by now, requesting that he act on this injustice.
We have been able to get Obama to change his mind on a lot of issues.
As I have mentioned a couple of times before, I am paying $5.00 dollars per month for my own We The People web page at the White House web site, where I can log in to sign petitions, and I can even compose a petition to send out to circulate among other subscribers.
So, we have the Presidents ear, and sometimes we have to chew on his ears a bit!
The Bush Administration didn't have the White House web site set up where citizens can have their own private pages there.
But, Obama has done this, because he's interested in what we have to say, even if we sometime disagree with him on some issues.
Of course, Obama is going to have a tuff fight on his hands, because, the some of the Republicans will oppose him in anything he tries to do to take the necessary actions.
Some Republicans might even try to block any attempt by Obama to have the charges either dropped or reduced against this young student.
