Well . . . this just goes to show, that many right-wing Christian Fundies have no sense of humor!

Crack a few harmless jokes about Xmas and you'll get ripped to pieces, verbally!

Anyway, the wold famous black astrophysicist and astronomer, Neil deGrasse Tyson, recently made a few harmless comments about Xmas on his Twitter account, and he got trolled.

Of course, he probably laughed it off.

These were not vicious comments, but only lighthearted humorous comments.

Tyson didn't denounce the holiday, but don't tell that
to the right-wing fanatics who trolled him.

December 26, 2014 | Celebrity Astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson took to Twitter over the holidays to send out a bunch of Christmas related jokes, but not everyone took well to the lighthearted jabs, some even thinking that they were an attack on the holiday and the Christian religion.

And while Tyson’s posts got quite a few fans and retweets, they seemed to cause a bit of a Twitter outrage among Christians and Conservatives who just don’t think it’s right to tell jokes about Christmas.

It all began innocently enough with this harmless quip that's probably been told by thousands of comedians:

Well, so much for the warmth of human kindness this holiday season.

OK . . . I for one, do not think that Neil deGrasse Tyson said anything that could possibly be considered offensive. No, not by any stretch of the imagination!

He just stated some simple and historic FACTS.

It's a historic FACT, that Sir Isaac Newton was born on a Christmas day, on a December 25,1642 which of course was according to the old Julian day calender.

OK, I guess Christian Fundies are just naturally going to be offended, when Neil deGrasse Tyson said . . . On this day long ago, a child was born who, by age 30, would transform the world, by saying that it was Isaac Newton instead of Jesus Christ.

Well . . . Isaac Newton did transform the would of science. He did after all, invent calculus, and came up with his mathematical laws of motion and gravity.

And, it is a scientific FACT, that red light, having a longer wave-length and lower frequency can penetrate fog much better than blue light having a shorter wave-length and higher frequency. This is why the sun appears red when it's low on the horizon during sunrise and sunset, and it's also why the sky appears blue. It's because blue light is scattered by the earth's atmosphere.

I can't understand, how anybody can be so offended by these scientific FACTS!!!

Oh wait! I forget! They're right-wing Christian Fundies! That's why they are offended!

NO! Neil deGrasse Tyson did not say anything to denigrate the Christmas holiday.

He only made a few humorous comments, which most of us human beings would not find in the least bit offensive!

They all seriously need to . . . . .
